The IDCS-PI DC Current Sensors bring hassle-free retrofit capability to low- and mid-ampere DC installations, accurately measuring currents from 5 A to 800 A without cutting conductors or interrupting service. Their hinged split-core design clips around existing cables in seconds, while a closed magnetic path maintains excellent linearity and immunity to external fields.
Galvanically-isolated auxiliary outputs 500 mV and 471 mV deliver proportional signals that plug directly into DC energy meters, data loggers and IoT gateways via standard RJ11 or RJ45 modular connectors. Encapsulated for heat, moisture and vibration resistance, the sensors retain calibration in battery-storage racks, solar-PV arrays, telecom power shelves and EV-charging cabinets.
